Woke to walking on the beach with Rob. What a great way to wake up! This is our second such walk and I enjoy it more each time. Came across a abandoned resort. I asked Beck if we could buy it!? Back at the resort for a super relaxing  morning...had to give the kidneys a break. Tonight will be dressy dinner night at Beck and I's favorite El Panorama (we've been enjoying their food each time we visit)! WE have such good looking kids! Dinner was amazing! And the tortilla soup...wow! What a great night!  Sexy Coffee Video href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlcuOSjmTKEA5eIDet5vhx0Qw8SrlhHskJuBVjTSx5gQR6BkdA7mqnL_CaHmcsx-VhL4zQLcjvgx94wZjioy4u1qQGiz583oPOrhygakUQ0AQw2XywTthyaKUMJKLXrOHUYHgPJA6MXTc/s2048/20201110_172619.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;">

City tour and tequila!

Image
Rob texted me early to get us out on a discovery hike around our resort and onto the beach. The noise of the waves crashing onto the shore makes for a relaxing walk. We saw a few interesting things like a few hollowed wave runners (no engine in them but probably used as small fishing boats for locals.  A few sleeping locals in their hammocs and a local hotel that was abandoned just in the shadows of the large hotel Americanna resort. We walked by a thatched hut, maybe abandonned?  A city tour was arranged for us by the resort concierge. Picked us up at 940am at the lobby of our hotel then it was off to walk the main old city, which included a walk into the church in PV. A very special and old place built in the early 1900's. Its beautiful gold adournned altars and stained glass makes this small church amazingly beautiful! Next stop was a Mexican Gem Museum that showed the various local stones that come from in and around mexico. From onyx to obsidian to silver and gold....

Kids are here!

Rob and Rach arrived on 11.7 . TEO picked us up and we drove to the PV airport. They landed on time and we went over to Walmart to pick up things for the next week. It has been so much fun hanging out poolside for the remainder of their 1st half day.  11.8 was a day for a boat cruise to Las Muerietas! These islands house many bird and fish species including the blue and yellow footed boobie. The boat trip out to murriettas as about 2 hours from the PV Marina. Along the way out we spotted 2 humpback whales breech just 50 feet away from our catamaran! Great breakfast of pancakes and eggs. Upon arrival we snorkeled just off the edge of the largest island then took a eco tour around the island. This is a special tour not many people can come to making it a very unique trip! The evening at the resort was spent in the pool and drinking tequilla and drinking more tequilla!

A long walk and tequilla!

Went into town this morning to visit our favorite breakfast spot. The Pancake House is an amazing spot! My little angel along the streets of PV Climbing to the sky! Some neat sites along the Malecon! We ended up walking breakfast off today and seeing some local stores! We got back to the resort and hung out at the pool with a group of really funny californians and drank a bunch of tequilla! Too Mas!

Winner winner what's for dinner!

Today was meant for relaxing and Bingo! A relaxing morning by the pool til our old friend (the recreation guy) from years past invited us to play bingo along the pool side. A few peso's a card. Every seat filled!  I got to tell you i am unlucky when it comes to bingo. Have played many times and only once have i won. Today Beck and I both won! I one a free drink and she won a massage! And she had just come back from a massage...Lucky Lucky Lucky for us! our luck continued when our new friends Eric and Terri invited us along to an amazing place to eat, just minutes away from our hotel. View of the ocean was amazing, the hotel amazing, Shrimp were huge and tasty and mojitos where out of this world. Oh...and the flan! Earlier today we finalized plans and activities for when the kids get here on Saturday 11.7.2020 and remainder of the week Rob Alaska Airlines Flight: 2024    Depart Medford, OR on Sat, Nov 7, 2020 8:00 AM    Arrive Los Angeles, CA on Sat, Nov 7,...

Short video clip of the home can be found on the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKTiCgKZOBA An amazing piece of history with great views and great food!  Desert above Salad was amazing! Taking daily walks around town to save from gaining our weight back...its gonna be tough! ...

Day 2 November 2nd. Just walkin' Malecon walk! some of the most beautiful sculptures and art can be found along the romantic zone along the port of Puerto Vallarta. We jumped into a uber from our resort and asked the driver just drop us off into town. We really want to find a little spa with little fish that love to eat the dead cells from your feet. we did this in Greece (insert video here). So thats the inspiration for our trip this morning. When we traveled to Greece last year there was a lake full of them. View that here:  https://vimeo.com/376578569 Not today...the fish weren't bitting...AH...Get it? But the big fish were! We stopped to check out the new pier and saw this cute little with a big one! Durado...she caught herself! One of Becks favorite things is looking for the big iguanas in the trees along the cualle. Day 1 Puerto Vallarta Nov 1 2020

November 1st It's been a year since I’ve stepped onto a plane to go anywhere. Usually Beck and I would have been to Hawaii and traveled to some of her Navis accounts but with COVID-19 most all of her accounts have been not fully open or the Navis company has cancelled all un essential travel to those accounts. Our last major trip used trains planes auto and boat (our awesome Europe trip….) a few months ago we decided we were going to take a risk and plan a relaxing get away trip….Beck and I would be in PV 2 whole weeks and Rob and Rachel would join us on our last week. We Love PV and since they decided that it was safe to come to the area we jumped at the chance to book the trip for all of us! So today was the day! Here we go!  Travel so far has been easy starting with us waking at 230am jumping into the truck with our packed belongings, picking up Logan in bend who will drive our car back to our house (and pick us up on return) The Redmond airport is not very busy so gettin...
